In the south west of Ireland, County Kerry there is a route taking you in a circle. At 179km in length, it is not something that you can complete in a day on foot, but on the route you will see the impressive landscape that Ireland is famous for – the wild Atlantic coastline from the clifftops, white sandy beaches and further inland beautiful mountainous landscapes of Glencar.

It is also a walk where wildlife lovers may be able to spot a lot of the local animals that live around this area – from herds of wild red deer, to white tailed eagles and even the native red squirrel. The ancient forests filled with oak trees are perfect places to see the wildlife.
