How to look after your back whilst working from home

Working from home has become a new way of working for many people as the world tries to combat the pandemic that has swept the world over the last two years. Whilst this brings added benefits such as being able to spend more time with family members, it also brings about the need to ensure that you are looking after your back and there are a number of ways that this can be done.

It is important that you have the right kind of chairs and some that support your whole back such as the Connubia Calligaris Chairs that you can find from Nuastyle. Chairs that support your lumbar region are the best if you are working for long periods of time sitting down. You might also want to consider computer chairs if you have a desk set up at home.

Exercise is also key when it comes to helping relieve any stress and tension that can creep in during the day. This can be something as simple as taking a short walk during your lunchtime and to make sure that you have a good stretch of your back, arms and legs at regular intervals during the day.

Sitting for long periods of time can lead your posture to become a tad sloppy. This can put pressure on your back and your hips. It is important to regularly look at how you are sitting and readjust your posture in the seat. Having regular breaks where you get up and walk around gives you the perfect opportunity to adjust the way you are sitting.
