How to improve the performance of your android phone

A mobile phone is like a computer. The more it is filled with apps, videos and photos, the more sluggish it becomes and the faster the battery life drains. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to speed up your device by following these tips:

  1. Update the operating system

By updating your operating system when it becomes available, it will help your device to be more secure and run more efficiently. Depending on the device, the process of updating may be different but still relatively simple. For a Vodafone store in Tullamore, see King Communications, a leading Vodafone store in Tullamore

  1. Get rid of bloatware

Bloatware is the apps that were already installed when you first bought your phone. To remove the things you never use, you can root your device but if you don’t want to do this, you can prevent future updates and stop these apps from updating automatically which will free up storage space. Phones that run a pure operating system with no bloatware include models from Motorola, Google, Nokia and HTC.

  1. Create space

As with any device, the more you fill it, the slower it runs. If you don’t have a memory card slot, you should consider backing up data and transferring it to a different device. Spend some time having a clear out and deleting emails, photos and videos that are no longer required.

  1. Save battery life

You can either carry a portable charger with you or become stricter with energy saving actions like turning off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use, closing down background apps properly and initiating power save mode.
