With Summer gone and Autumn starting to make its presence felt the time for preparations is upon us. Whilst you might only have just got over the late summer holiday it’s always a good idea to start to think about what Christmas is going to look like this year. If it seems too early I would like to remind you to think about how manic it gets in December! There are presents to buy and food to prepare. However, if you’ve got the decorations sorted out the chance to sit down with a nice cup or glass of something certainly sounds appealing.

One of the most important things that you’ll need to have in place is the heating. Christmas is “in the bleak midwinter” and the last thing you’ll want is to be cold. Boilers Cheltenham, Swindon Bristol or Gloucester all need a bit of care and attention so make sure they are ok before the festive season gets under way.

If you are the type of person that likes to make your own decorations then you had better start now. The sun may still be shining but getting the decs done and stored away is a great feeling when all you have to do is get them out for December. Have a think about when you are going to start decorating. Some people start in November! One plan is to have a measured release. Pick a series of weekends and slowly build up the decorations. It’s a great way to get the kids excited plus you can see what works in the space rather than throwing it all out at once.
